Letters To Juliet

                       what” and “if”,
are two words as non-threatening as words can be,
but  put them together, side by side,
and they have the power to haunt you for the rest of your life.
      what if?
      what if?
      what if?
I don’t know how your story ended,
but if what you felt then was true love,
      then it’s never too late,
if it was true then, why wouldn’t it be true now?
      you need only the courage
      to follow your heart,
I don’t know what a love like juliet’s feels like,
a love to leave loved ones for, a love to cross oceans for,
      but I’d like to believe,
if I ever were to feel it,
that I’d have the courage to seize it,
      And, Claire, if you didn’t,
I hope one day that you will.

It’s romance movie. I was impressed with the letter.

“What if” is really a wonderful combination. It brings an opportunity and possibility to change something. Nothing’s gonna happen unless people want it, be trying and seize the chance. We always find many excuses not to do, not to say, not to call, not to love, but didn’t keep one piece of courage to take the first step.

So, are you still waiting?

PS: Would I get a reply if I write to Juliet?:)

  1. A well written piece. I like the ideas. Life is sadly full of what ifs. But once the moment is passed and decissions made. We need to move on and make the best of what we have.

Sometimes just easy to say, difficult to do. However, there is definately no good ending without trying.
      Have a nice weekend.
